easypay Multibanco References are used for payments such as Invoices, Online Payments and Donations. You can issue Multibanco references with different characteristics and that are the most suitable for the business needs.
Each Multibanco Reference consists of 3 fields:
- Entity
- Reference
- Value
Entity
easypay Entities are distinguished by:
- Value (Fixed – Check-digit ou Variable – file)
- Validity ( with or without final date for payments)
Entity 10611 – Check digit
- with fixed value;
- No expiration date;
- Possibility of multiple uses;
- Possibility of being used by several people.
A Check-digit Multibanco Reference can be used by anyone at any time. The funds are always destined for the Beneficiary who requested its creation.
Exemplo: Fee payments, Invoice payments, Donations.
Entity 11683 – Check digit + expiration date
- with Fixed Value;
- With expiration date (min 24 h);
- Possibility of multiple uses;
- Possibility of being used by several people.
Once the set expiration date has passed, the reference can no longer be paid.
Example: Reservations, Ticket Sales, Payment of invoices, Donations, payment of fees.
Entity 21098 – File
- No fixed value – open amount;
- Possibility to define minimum and maximum amount;
- Possibility to configure periodicity;
- With or Without expiration date – configurable
Recommended for Frequent Payments and Subscriptions.
